Bookings normally run from Saturday to Saturday, but entry and departure days can be more flexible outwith peak periods.
On booking you will be required to pay a deposit of £50 for each week of your booking plus an extra fixed charge of £50. For example, for a one week let you would pay a £100 deposit or for a two week let you would pay £150. The extra £50 will be returned to you if the house is left in an acceptable condition without requiring any replacements or unreasonable cleaning. The remaining money from the deposit will go towards the total charge for your rental of the house.
The remainder of the rental payment is due to be paid at least one month before you are due to travel to Tiree.
The deposit is non-refundable and the balance is only refunded for cancellations more than one month before you are due to travel to Tiree.
We no longer offer bed linen or towels, but they can be rented on the island by contacting Fiona MacInnes at Letts Clean on 01879 220045 or 07733 323587.
Electricity costs are included in the rental charges.
Well behaved dogs are allowed to accompany you, but we ask that you try to keep any extra cleaning work, especially hairs, that they create to a minimum and remind you that you will be required to pay for any damage that they cause. This includes cleaning up the garden after your dog, which is something that we have had some incidents with recently. If there are any problems with this, then we may not refund your deposit. You should also note that there are a lot of sheep on Tiree and under certain circumstances landowners have a legal right to shoot a dog that is disturbing their livestock.
